Important Dates
Exhibition Dates and Times
Sunday 11th August 2024 - 10:00am to 3:00pm. (Happy Hour Function 3:15pm to 5:00pm)
Monday 12th August 2024 - 8:40am to 3:00pm
Exhibitor Activities - Thank You Function
We are hosting a Happy Hour / Thank You Function on Sunday 11th August from 3:15pm to 5:00pm at the Race Course Scottish Charm Lounge. This is your reward for a hard days work! Get to meet other exhibitors, secondary school principals, sponsors and careers advisors while you have a well-earned drink and nibble. Please email to confirm your attendance.

Arrival and Set up Times
Set up is from 10:0am to 5:00pm on Saturday 10th August and from 8:30am on Sunday 11th August.
We would like to know what time you expect to arrive so we can assist with any problems that may arise. Please contact Taranaki Careers and Training Expo Co-ordinator to advise your expected time of arrival.
NB: Deliveries can only be accepted on Friday 9th August due to lack of storage space - so please organise your deliveries accordingly.
A member of our organising committee will be able at the venue between 10:00am and 5:00pm on Saturday 10th August, from 8:30am on Sunday 11th August and Monday 12th August, should you require any assistance. Organising committee members can be identifies by a yellow lanyard and blue name tag with Taranaki Careers Expo logo on it.
If you require access to the venue outside of these times, please contact Eli Paurini, TSB stadium Manager.
Booths
Every single booth is 3m wide x 2m deep with black partitions between separate booths and has:
• 1 x power point
• 1 x trestle table (1.8m)
• 2 x chairs.
Please notify the Taranaki Careers and Training Expo Trust should you have any changes to this allocation.
NB: The partitions surrounding the booths are black. You cannot pin or staple on the partitions, only Velcro and the like can be used to please remember to bring:
• Velcro dots etc - if you wish to hang displays from the partitions
• Multi-plugs and extension leads if you are using power.

At the Expo
Catering
Complimentary tea, coffee, milo and biscuits are provided for all exhibitors upstairs on the mezzanine floor of the TSB Stadium.
There will be a cafe on site selling food items in the foyer of the stadium including hot chips, lasagne, frittata, hot soup, toasties, panini, burritos, assorted wraps & chocolate brownies. As well as an assortment of confectionaries, espresso Coffee and non-alcoholic drinks.
Closing time
Please be prepared to stay until 3:00pm on Monday 12th August as this is the advertised time of the expo. For those of you who have to pack up early due to flights etc, please consider leaving some brochures at your booth so the public will still be able to make contact.
Floor Plan
The floor plan for 2023 is available HERE. A newly redesigned layout will make it easier for expo visitors to access the information they are looking for.
Toilets
Are sited off the foyer of the TSB Stadium.
Exhibitor Tags
Please wear a name tag or organisation pin. This will ensure your access to the Exhibitors Lounge and Cafe as well as being identified by the TSB Stadium staff and Expo committee members.
Internet
The TSB Stadium has wireless connections available at no extra cost. Please contact Eli Paurini prior to the Expo to make arrangements for your wireless connection.

Secondary Schools
Secondary schools from throughout Taranaki will be rostered throughout Monday. We expect in excess of 2500 secondary school pupils throughout the day. A schedule of school arrival times will be in your exhibitor pack which is issued before the expo.

Equipment hire
Taranaki Sound Hire (TSH) will attend to any video/TV needs you may have. Call Neil Penno on (06) 753 4792 or Mobile 021 474 210 to make your arrangements. TSH do work Saturdays but you will need to make your arrangements with them prior to Saturday. You can also email TSH on neil@tsh.co.nz it is important that you make your requirements very clear and conform your needs with them to avoid any misunderstandings. TSH only have VGA cables so if in doubt, bring all cables you may need with you.
